My name is misspeachii, and I am a content creator and streamer on Twitch. Recently, my leopard gecko, Mango, had a shedding accident which caused an injury to her left eye. Tiny pieces of shed got stuck within her eye, and she attempted to get it out herself. Unfortunately, Mango ended up scratching her eye, causing it to become red and cloudy. Over this last month, I have been bringing her to our exotic vet for treatment, but sadly, the eye has not been healing despite daily medication. I have decided to start raising funds to pay for Mango's continued medical treatment due to our next steps only growing more expensive. With winter arriving, income for my family is limited, and money is tight. I want to be able to do everything I can to provide Mango with the best treatments available. Our next step for her injury would be to see an ophthalmologist, a specialist in eye care for animals. Though, if all treatment fails, the last and final step would be to surgically remove Mango's eye. One of the vets on her team has already recommended this course of action, but I wouldn't be doing everything for my baby if I didn't get a second opinion first. Please help me raise the funds for this specialist appointment and continued treatment for my lizard, and if all else fails, payment for her eye removal surgery.

Mango's Background

I got Mango when she was a year old, given to me by an old high school acquaintance who couldn't care for her any longer. Mango came to me with a healed dropped tail and two missing toes. She was a skittish, frail lizard, coming from a place that did not give her the care she required. I did everything in my power to research everything I needed to provide Mango with the best possible home. She's been with me for two years now, being my only girl pet in the family. We have bonded over tong feedings, head scratches, and long gaming sessions where she's sat nearby. Mango has become one of my biggest prides. I love her deeply.
