Hello, my name is Vyom. I was driving from Charlotte to Winston Salem, and on the way I noticed a bunch of dogs on the road who had been hit and run over. I pulled over and found that one of the dogs was breathing.

He's a German Shepherd, and according to the vet is just under 6 months old. He was likely thrown from a vehicle with his brothers and sisters and was the only survivor.

His pelvis is fractured and hip bone is dislocated. He will need surgery to repair the damage. It will cost about $6000.

If we don't go through with the surgery, he will likely be put into an animal shelter and put down due to the cost of the surgery.

My girlfriend and I are looking to adopt and take care of him after the surgery. Please, any help you can give at all would make a huge difference, and hopefully give this girl a good home.

UPDATE: I have received an itemized bill, and it appears that the cost of surgery will likely be $500 dollars more than previously expected. I will post the list below for transparency. Also apparently it is a boy, not a girl.
