Help Fund Summer Web Design Internship

I wanted to take this summer to further develop my web design skills in order to work towards a personal goal of building applications and resources that benefit my neighborhood and community I've grown up in here in Houston. 

Today I received my admission offer with the iXperience Web Development 6-week Online Summer Program where I'd be spending my time working with a team remotely to build web solutions for partner companies. This is the perfect opportunity for me to gain experience practically and apply the skills I'm learning at Carleton to existing companies. 

I was planning on securing funding from my institution's Career Center in the amount of $2000 and I was planning to cover the remaining costs ($300). However, I found out this program just barely missed the definition of an internship in Carleton's eyes as the "in-the-internship" experience doesn't last as long as 240 hours.

I'm expected to secure funding for this internship in less than 7 days if I would like to secure a spot with this program. I can afford to pay $300 out of pocket in 7 days, but not $2300! I'm asking for your support to help me reach this $2300 goal before June 10!
