Help Fund Stone Soup Concrete Recovery Effort

Donation protected
Stone Soup Concrete was one of the many small businesses affected by the flooding that hit southern Vermont on July 10, 2023. Mike Paulsen, owner and operator, recently moved his business of 22 years from Western Massachusetts to the quaint town of Proctorsville, Vermont, one of the hardest-hit towns. His new shop sustained massive damage, taking on five feet of water that left a thick layer of mud over everything in its wake. Small tools and materials used to make beautiful custom concrete countertops, hearths, and custom furniture were most impacted. Tools and materials caked in water and mud, with some being found hundreds of feet away from the shop, need to be quickly replaced so Stone Soup can get back to business as usual.

These days, Mike is a one-man show at Stone Soup. Since moving his business, he has worked hard to streamline production and be more efficient. Losing tools and materials is a setback but he is ready to come back strong, especially with a little help. If you know Mike, he is the first to jump in to help anyone in need. He has already received some of that kindness back with friends, family, and even strangers helping with the significant clean-up efforts inside the shop.

This GoFundMe will help to replace tools and supplies so Mike can jump back in to creating beautiful custom pieces for clients. Many thanks for any donation you can make.
