Simi Valley Threesome is a short film written by Diana Cambronero and directed by Kai Cohen, produced by both Diana Cambronero and Eric Vad.

Premise: Best friends Carl and Bowen are at an all time low, spending their last summer before college watching adult films together as loser virgins. College is an institution built for sex and if the boys want to arrive “shlong hanging” they need to have sex ASAP. Like any other Simi Valley residents looking to get their weenies working, the boys decide to summon a demon who “specializes in turning boys into men” per her website.

Although on the surface a slap stick comedy, Simi Valley Threesome aims to entertain it's audience by making fun of the societal concept of masculinity, or what we think it is. It pokes fun at the idea that virginity is lame and shares that real masculinity is being proud of the person you are inside.

Kai Cohen has a plethora of experience within the industry, having worked on Abbot Elementary and Rap Sh!t. Most recently he served as Production Designer on the CSUN Thesis Film SNAFU. He is excited to step back into the directing chair with this premise.

Diana Cambronero's writing is decorated with accolades, having received 3 on her most recent short film "Maneater" from the Blue Cat Screenplay contest, The Screencraft Short Screenplay Contest, and the Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Contest, putting her script at the top 19% of discoverable scripts on Coverfly.

Eric Vad most recently served as producer and showrunner on the CSUN TV Thesis, "Nobel Women," where he alone secured locations and over saw a crew of over 20 people. He wrote and showran previous to that, "Code Name Red Tape," thus granting him the tools and knowledge to make a production happen.

Despite how awesome they sound, Kai, Diana, and Eric are still learning and with your help, they can learn more and totally plot world domination.
