Help fund service dog programs for disabled people

As you all know, Passion Fur Paws is in the business of helping dogs AND people, most of you that know me, know that it literally makes my heart hurt when someone says to me, "I really need this, but I can't afford it" It makes me want to do it for free but I can't. Recently I have been contacted regarding training a therapy dog for the AWARE shelter to be used in therapy for survivors but AWARE is unable to pay for it, I have people that have an aggressive dog and they truly need help but it's an uphill battle and it can get expensive, I've taken on one of these cases for free because I know the dog would only get worse and possibly end up euthanized. I've had veterans email me and tell me their story and that they really NEED a service dog but they are on a fixed income and can't afford my services, I come down as much as I can but it still isn't enough.
My clients, and people that aren't my clients yet need financial help sometimes for training and there are people that NEED it. I started out working with mostly veterans in California on base and I saw what they were before a dog and then I saw a whole new beautiful person able to live their life with their family again. I desperately want to be able to take on these cases and buy the vest and the patches they need to work in public. I want to change lives, that's all I've ever wanted to do.
So, I had an idea, I'm sure you have noticed shirts that a client has made for me, they are amazing right? So here's my thought, to sell shirts online, at different vendor events, anywhere that we can and then the profit can all be put into a PFP Scholarship Fund. After we are able to purchase the equipment the only overhead will be the shirt, There could be good profit if we sell enough.
How we will determine eligibility is we need to look at their W-2's a complete list of their bills, and their income for a month. That is very personal information, I get that, but if someone doesn't want to share that to get help, they won't be able to receive help from the PFP Scholarship Fund.
I want to be able to help senior citizens that can't leave their house and need help training, I want to be able to help the person with balance issues that needs their dog to help them up when they fall, I want to help the woman that survived an abusive relationship and get her a service dog so she'll fell more protected, I want to help the people that have an aggressive dog that are afraid of being judged or told not to walk their dog, that dog deserves to be walked too, they just need the training.
So I'm asking you to take my hand, help us get this equipment, SHARE this page, then help spread the word about the sales of the shirts, there will be a variety of sayings, color, sizes, short or long sleeve.
It would mean so much to these people to get the help they need, without it feeling like a handout, I can't even put into words about how much it would change lives, human lives, dog lives, and keep more dogs from being re-homed or euthanized for being bad, when all they needed was help that we can easily provide for them.
This is so close to my heart because a dog can literally change someone's outlook on life, it can make life feel worth living again.
