Empowering Future Leaders: Support JROTC Scholarships!
BLUF: We are raising funds to award two $1,500 scholarships to outstanding JROTC high school students in our local Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas community!
The Mission: Investing in Our Future Leaders
The Buffalo Soldier Chapter of The ROCKS, Inc. is dedicated to mentorship, leadership development, and professional growth for officers, warrant officers, cadets, and students pursuing careers in service. This year, we are committed to directly supporting two JROTC cadets by awarding them each a $1,500 scholarship to help them achieve their academic and leadership goals. We also seek to place $500 in the scholarship fund for 2026.
Why This Matters
JROTC programs instill discipline, leadership, and service-oriented values in high school students, shaping them into future military officers, first responders, educators, and civic leaders. Many of these students come from underrepresented communities and have the potential to do great things—but they need our support.
This scholarship will:
✅ Ease the financial burden of pursuing higher education
✅ Recognize and reward the hard work of exceptional JROTC cadets
✅ Encourage the next generation of leaders in our local area
How You Can Help
We need your support to make this a reality! Every donation, big or small, goes directly toward funding these scholarships. With just $3,000 total, we can give two deserving students the support they need to take their education and leadership journey to the next level.
