Shoot Like A Girl is a mission-driven summer camp giving young women the tools, education and confidence they need to tell their stories, build community and pursue an interest in film. Now in its third year, Shoot Like A Girl is proudly hosted by Honey Head Films, an award-winning production house and social enterprise empowering our next generation of filmmakers - making space for female-centric work both in front of and behind the lens.

Our Narrative Filmmaking track is a two-week intensive that serves as a Master Class in the process of storytelling for the screen. Each camper will write and direct her own short film under the mentorship of seasoned female filmmakers. Campers receive high-level instruction and build confidence in their creative voice while collaborating with professional crew on their final product.

Our week-long Music Video session offers campers an opportunity to become fully immersed in one of three departments: Directing, Production Design or Cinematography. With hands-on experience and collaboration among peers and a professional industry musician, campers leave feeling energized - proudly adding the final product to their personal portfolios.
