Hi, my name is Evelyn, and I'm producing Land Birds, a short film written and directed by my friend Sarah Lee. Land Birds is about a young Korean woman who takes the kid sister she left behind in a California military town for a day of bird watching. I've been friends with Sarah since my freshman year of college, and I've seen them grow over the years into an intentional and caring director, culminating in this production: a tender portrayal of the trials and joys of transnational familial relationships.
