Hi, my name is Sandra Kemp Sainville and I am from Nassau, Bahamas. Several years ago, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to have brain surgery. Even though the surgery was considered a success, I still have considerable complications including seizures. Before the tumor diagnosis, I was the owner of a limousine and taxi services company. But due to the seizures I was unable to work, which led to the loss of my business and the foreclosure of my house in 2021.

In 2021 I also began experiencing lower back pain. After several trips to the hospital, the doctors discovered a herniated disc in my lower back. This means that one of the cushions between the bones of my spine has been damaged and now irritates a nearby nerve leaving me in constant severe back pain. I now require another surgery to resolve this problem. The estimated cost for the operation, recovery, housing and travel expenses is $15,000, but I cannot afford this on my own due to my current situation.
