Help fund Saba's ACL surgery

A few weeks back Saba decided to play little too hard with a younger dog and forgot he's getting up there in age (7). Having lyme disease I thought his limp was joint pain/arthritis, but come to find out the vets and x-rays have confirmed he tore his ACL. This requires a rather quick emergency surgery that was completely unexpected.

I'm not usually one to ask for help, nor do I feel like putting my sob story and financial situation out there for everyone to see. But the good times have finally caught up with us and I'm in a tough spot. All I really want is my best friend to be happy again and continue our adventures.

I've been searching for the best type of surgery at an affordable price, and it has led me to a small veterinary just north of Syracuse, NY that performs a unique type of surgery that is less invasive than the traditional plates, screws and breaking of bones. It's also much more affordable at 2,500 rather than the 5-7,000 TPLO surgery recommended for a dog of his size. 

Long story short, they are getting us in Monday July 13th and we're stoked! The recovery will be a long 6 weeks especially still living in the Airstream.
