Revive Coffee Co. has been in the dream stage for my wife and I for around 5 years. When we first started thinking about it, neither of us had much business experience, but we knew we loved coffee. After moving to Northwest Ohio three years ago, we were able to meet our dear friends David and Gabe. They are amazing coffee roasters/café owners in Wapakoneta, Ohio. During my time with them, an entrepreneur spirit was born inside of me.
Since then, I started working for Youth for Christ of NorthWest Ohio as a Campus Life site director. As an employee of Youth for Christ I raise support much like a missionary to another country. I just happen to be called locally. I love being able to impact the community that I live in, but cannot do it without people who support me both in prayer and finances.
Our desire is to open a coffee shop in Pandora, Ohio. This coffee shop would also help our efforts to reach students and their families, while providing a safe place for people to come and receive love, great coffee, and fellowship/community. The building we want to get has a space that we would like to renovate to be a Campus Life room in Pandora.
We would love to find a building that will house our shop and the roaster! We will need to get a bigger roaster, as currently I can only roast about 4oz. of coffee at a time. Our dream is to roast coffee in-house in order to serve the freshest coffee around.
The initial cost for the coffee roaster is around $3500. This would enable me to roast up to three pounds at a time and up to 18 lbs per hour.
