On May 7, 2026, a private Search & Rescue group will be assisting us in finding DeEtte!!!!
They will be bringing in a
ropes/ climbing team,
search/cadaver dogs,
high-tech drones with penetrating radar,
a Black Hawk helicopter,
and many volunteers!
All this effort takes a lot of coordination and resources!!!!!
We need your help to support this search!
EVERY DOLLAR HELPS! EVERY $1. EVERY $5 It all adds up to help!
The area will be closed off during this 3 to 4 day search starting May 7th. Roads will be blocked off to people not associated with this search effort.
We asked for your support last weekend by showing up in person. And you did! Thank you.
Now we ask for your support by donating what you can.
The family would like to provide lunches for the 30 - 50 volunteers during the 3 day search and your donation will go towards meals for volunteers.

As of April 26, 2026, we still have not been able to locate DeEtte. Her car was found on March 5, 2025.
She has now been missing for 13 weeks.
We have brought on a private search and rescue team to look for DeEtte, which will happen the weekend of May 8th.
They will be bringing in a lot of resources ... helicopters.. search dogs.... a climbing team .... drones with their own video technology. These people are all volunteers. They will be flying here from all over the country. They are coming here on their own dime.
This kind of effort does cost quite a bit of money.
Please lets help support them.
This next round of donations will go towards feeding the search and rescue volunteers while they are in Carbon County during the weekend of May 8th.
Any excess funds will also be donated towards the search efforts.
**UPDATE:
We were able to hire a private airplane to search out of Hanksville, Utah, up Hwy 24, around Green River, and towards Price. Nothing was spotted. (Cost $150, 2/6/2026)
We are now looking into helicopter searches for steep and tree covered terrains.**
DeEtte Spencer (from Escalante Utah) went missing on January 26, 2026. She was last seen at the Walmart in Price, Utah at 10:30pm, she was headed back to Escalante.
Her route is unknown.
Her car has not been seen since. Her credit cards have not been used since.

Planes have been searching overhead, but cannot do this on a volunteer basis forever.
We would like to raise funds to pay for gas for the planes to keep doing flyovers over basically 20,000 mi.².
We need to find DeEtte and bring her home!
