As some of you may know, this is Padfoot, my first born “son” and my soulmate kitty. A couple weeks ago, I discovered blood in his urine (and not like a little blood but like very very red urine). I immediately took him to the vet and we spent two weeks treating him for a possible UTI. However, after the medications were through, he had not improved. I took him back to the vet, and they did abdominal scans on him along with a handful of other tests. Aaaand they found a large bladder stone. The doctor’s said we could attempt to dissolve it but there was a very real chance the stone would move to his urethra and it would then become emergency surgery. We are hoping to do the surgery before it becomes emergent but the scans, medications, blood work, and cost of surgery have added up. I’m posting this gofund me to hopefully be able to relieve at least some of the price tag so he can have this surgery as soon as possible and be back to his usual loving and cuddly self. Anything would help and I would be eternally grateful!! Thank you!!
