What exactly is FBLA?
Future Business Leaders of America is a national organization with state and local chapters that helps prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society. Through directed career preparation, focused leadership experiences, local/state/national competitions, and educational programs we learn to be leaders in our communities and beyond while networking with current and future business leaders.
Over the last six months, we have dedicated hundreds of hours to our 3D animation project about the amazing ABBY wheelchair by GoGoTech. (See our video for more information.)
With this project, we placed 1st at both the District and State leadership conference competitions this year. As freshmen, we placed 1st at Districts and 3rd at State leadership conference competitions, qualifying us for Nationals last year as well. Unfortunately, we were unable to raise the money to attend the National competition last year.
This year, we are asking for donations in any amount to help us attend the 2023 FBLA National Leadership Conference & Competition in Atlanta this summer.
This trip is very special because only a very small percentage of FBLA members across the country get this opportunity every year. Only 3 of the 30 students in our local chapter qualified to compete at the national level this year. Attending this conference would be an amazing opportunity and a special honor.
To afford this opportunity we must raise $8,000 to cover the required travel expenses, hotel rooms, conference fees, and other additional costs for this trip for both us and our chaperone.
IMPORTANT! The money raised from this fundraiser will be used for this event. Any amount over our needs will be used by our local FBLA chapter to fund next year’s events and competitions.
