Hi! We’re a group of film students at the University of Derby and we’re creating our short film, “DOVE”. This project is important to us because it’s a chance to tell a personal, emotional story about loss within family and reconciliation, while gaining hands on experience in filmmaking.

The film follows Paloma a 16 year old girl as she navigates tension with her mother and reconnects with her father through everyday moments and meaningful places. Through this story, our aim is to capture the emotional depth of family relationships in a visually engaging and thoughtful way.
