We are thrilled to announce that our passionate team at Easthampton Theater Company is gearing up to stage the classic and beloved play The Man Who Came to Dinner, by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, in the Spring of 2024! This theatrical gem has enchanted audiences for decades with its witty dialogue, endearing characters, and timeless humor. As we work to bring this production to life in our community, we are reaching out to you for support to help us secure the necessary rights and create an unforgettable experience for our audience.
In only one year of existence, our community theater has quickly become a cornerstone of artistic expression, fostering a vibrant hub for creativity and cultural engagement. For the past year we have been dedicated to producing high-quality performances that resonate with our audiences- including 4 sold-out performances of the edgy social satire God of Carnage, and the upcoming and timely Winter production of Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song. However, staging a large cast play of the magnitude of The Man Who Came to Dinner comes with its own set of new challenges. We are seeking your generous contributions to secure early rights and to locate the production in a theatrical venue that befits the charm and grandeur of Hart and Kaufman's extraordinary work.
