Hello! My name is Zak, and I am the lead singer and creator of Lydden Garden, an alt-R&B / Indie Band Based in London.

We've been together for almost two years, and we've enjoyed playing at some amazing venues around London.

Now, our story is one that's been told before. I lost my job as a hospitality manager, and as someone who's always been a hard worker, I found it really hard to navigate joblessness, and finding new work was very difficult. During this time, I met Tomas on Facebook. I had already put some feelers out enquiring about possibly getting creative or joining a band.

Anyway, Tomas told me that he knew a bassist and a drummer who were keen on starting a music project and were looking for a singer. Having already been obsessed with songwriting, I asked him to send me some melodies, and let's see if I can write something and show them at our first meet-up.

We got together at Pirate studios in Earlsfield, introduced ourselves, and then got to it. Tomas started playing the melody he'd sent me, and I started singing.

It wasn't long before we all looked at each other and just smiled. This song went on to be our first ever recorded (and released) track, 'Only Lonely.'

Fast forward, and we've even had radio features!

Our mission is simply to heal people in the best way we know.

Life can be hard, and things don't always go to plan. whether that's in relationships, friendships, career... I guarantee, if you've endured it, we will have a song for it.

But it's not about the pain, it's about the growth. And with our music, we want to celebrate that growth through heartfelt, emotional, and thought-provoking music.

Our sound has changed and adapted so much since that first day, and we're now looking for funding to help us move the project into new spaces.

All funds raised will go towards making some exciting projects happen.

This year, we want to record more music and even create some music videos, so were asking you, our community, to be a day one supporter.

Our success is not and will never be a question of if, but when, and with the help of who.
