Help Fund Our Lawsuit Against Animal Foundation

Today No Kill Las Vegas filed a lawsuit against The Animal Foundation (TAF) for failing to operate the shelter in accordance with their contract with the local municipalities.

Our goal for the last ten years has always been to bring about positive change at the shelter. We have tried to work with the shelter, we have tried going through our elected officials, we have held countless protests and we have exposed them through the media, yet they continue to go about their business as usual. Well, they cannot ignore the legal system, so through the courts the animals will have a voice they must reckon with.”

In the lawsuit we are accusing TAF of not accepting animals from the public, not providing proper shelter, not feeding animals properly, not providing proper medical care causing animals to suffer, not providing sanitary living conditions, not vaccinating animals in accordance to the law, not spaying or neutering animals before releasing them and misleading NKLV with promises of change, in an effort to get us to pull back on our criticisms.

We are also asking the court to demand that they require TAF to immediately comply with the Clark County Code when it comes to the care of domesticated animals under their control.
