We're so glad and thankful to live in a community that stands up for neighbors.

Last week hundreds of residents in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, signed a letter to the editor of our local newspaper in support of our Somali friends and neighbors.

Because the newspaper's opinion space couldn't accommodate that many names, we took out an ad to list all of them in the Dec. 18 edition. We're hoping now that those signers and perhaps others might help us cover the $1,377 cost. If each person who signed donated just $5, we'd about have it covered. Once we reach that amount, we'll cap the fundraiser.
