Help Fund Our SDSU Thesis Film! | The Bridge

The Bridge:

Some of us are given our entire childhood to grow up; some of us are given seconds.

This film is a coming of age thriller that tells the story of four close high school teenagers celebrating graduation, and takes a glance into their future on a bridge far from civilization. But when one falls off and loses consciousness, their loyalties to each other are put to the test.

A Letter from the Director

Hello! My name is Laura Nguyen, and I am the writer/director of "The Bridge." My crew and I are fast approaching our final months at San Diego State University, and are hoping to create the best short film we've made yet. With our latest film, "The Bridge," it explores the feeling of graduating high school, and the future and possibilities of being an independent adult for the first time, only to be cut short by an accident. We hope that this film brings about the nostalgia of our innocence, as well as the feelings of having to grow up for the first time and deal with reality. From first loves, figuring out what we want to do with our lives, and fitting in, we hope Nolan, Noelle, Cameron, and Madison will be able to find a place in the hearts of our audience.

However, filmmaking is not cheap, and as students, we do not have the privilege of having enough money to fund this project. And because this is our thesis film, we do not want our story to be limited by lack of funds. So anything helps!

Where the money will be going:

Actors (talent, travel, etc.)
Equipment (We'll need special equipment considering we'll be climbing a bridge at night and need extra safety and lighting!)
Catering for Cast and Crew
Festival Entry Fees

Any amount of money helps (even $1), and in return to donating to our film we will provide you with film goodies and more! Please read closely for what you will receive after donating to our film campaign.  And if you can't donate, sharing helps too!!
