Help Fund Our Bridgeport Cat Mission
Donation protected
Hello, we are hoping for donations to help fund our Cat Mission as we are now calling it!!
My daughter has been the caretaker and primary feeder for a large colony of beautiful cats at her college home in Bridgeport, CT. She, along with her 2 roommates, provided them with food daily, multiple shelters, and love for the past 2 years. Now that she is in the process of moving home to RI, we are coordinating a spay day, a large TNR effort with local amazing helpers who are guiding this process. Approximately 25 cats will be humanely trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, receive flea/tick treatment, SNAP tested, and medically evaluated and treated if needed. They will be provided compassionate care during recovery, and we are hoping to find placements afterwards for the cats who are friendly, not thriving, and ones that can be socialized. We have adopted one, our spunky Luna!
The spay day is secured, 6/24! Any donation would be greatly appreciated as I am funding this “mission” independently!!
As of today 7/1/25, I have spent in excess of $2,343.00, for vetting, necessary materials and medication. That amount does not include any past, present or future food or shelter expenses. I have secured a wonderful daily feeder, who visits the cats daily, providing fresh water and food. In addition, we have approximately 6 more cats to vet.
Please consider donating!!
