Help Fund Oscar Screening of The Lost Legacy of Tony Gaudio

We are The Tony Gaudio Foundation for the Cinematic Arts, a non-profit interested in supporting the next generation of filmmakers. The Lost Legacy of Tony Gaudio is our new documentary, centering on the life of Tony Gaudio - an Oscar-Winning cinematographer of Calabrian descent, who was the first Italian to win any Oscar.

The Tony Gaudio Foundation, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, recognizes the important educational contribution made by the film to the Italian and Italian-American community and to the history of the film industry. Promotion of the film is a very important aspect of our mission to ensure the widest possible distribution of the film for educational purposes.

The documentary has been submitted by the Italian producers for Academy Award consideration! This is the culmination of significant festival appearances this year (Milano Visioni Del Mondo Festival, Buffalo International Film Festival)

The film will have its required theatrical showing to qualify for consideration by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and at the Laemmle Glendale Theater, 207 N. Maryland Avenue, Glendale from Friday, December 13th through Thursday, December 19, 2024.

We will pay to have the film be screened three (3) times per day for seven consecutive days with showtimes scheduled between 12:00 Noon and 10:00 PM with one evening show every day starting between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

I am asking for your financial support for this very important step in promoting the documentary. This is the first essential step in the process of being nominated for an Academy Award which will give the documentary much-needed exposure.

Any amount will help us reach our goal! Your contribution will help us cover the costs of renting the theater and hosting a red carpet even on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
