Help Fund NM Law Students' Trip to Moot Court Competition

We are a team of six law students competing in the Williams Institute Moot Court Competition hosted by UCLA.

The Williams Institute Moot Court is a national competition dedicated exclusively to sexual orientation and gender identity law. This year’s problem centers on the rights of transgender individuals in the military. The competition takes place on Saturday, March 14, in Los Angeles, California.

We are excited to represent our law school in a competition that directly engages with issues central to LGBTQ+ civil rights.

We are respectfully seeking financial support from the New Mexico educational and legal community to help make our participation in this competition possible. All donations will go towards the team's travel expenses related to the competition, including roundtrip weekend airfare to Los Angeles, two nights of accommodations, local transportation, and meals. Any level of financial support would meaningfully reduce the financial burden on the team.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity!
