Naveen’s Story,
As we all know, Cancer is a silent killer that takes away our loved ones from us. It is a disease that affects not only the patient but also their family and friends. In our lifetime we all have experienced this gut-wrenching pain of losing someone to Cancer and can understand how important it is to extend a helping hand during such difficult times.
My brother, Naveen Gulati, 50 years young, is a beloved husband, a loving father to a 15-year-old son (Aryan), a caring son, brother, uncle (to nephews and nieces) and a friend to many. Over a year ago Naveen was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He has already been through so much this last year and a half, recently losing our mother, going in and out of hospitals, and on top of going through different surgeries and further intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy (continuing).
Unfortunately, the NHS is currently limited on treatment in the UK however, we have found a possible treatment in the US at an approximate cost of £100,000 so we can give him that chance of survival, without this treatment he has been given a timeline of 6 to 12 months.
As a family, We are doing all that we can to raise these funds but today, with a heavy heart, my family and I stand here to appeal to your kind hearts to join me in raising funds to give him this treatment for a chance of survival and to be able to see a few more years with his wife and see his son graduate and be there for other life milestones.
We are well aware of how expensive Cancer treatment can be, and not everyone has the means to afford it. Imagine the pain of not being able to help a loved one, knowing that with the right medical intervention, they could have survived. This is where you come in. Together, we can give hope to his family that is fighting this battle with Naveen. Every little contribution can make a big difference.

Naveen is a loving family man, before his illness Naveen was often found visiting and checking up on elderly relatives and neighbours even providing food packages. He is a very family-oriented person. Very loving, and very caring, he likes to enjoy life, travel and loves his food. If you come to his place you’re not leaving without eating and he’s the kind of person you would want standing next to you in the good and bad times.
When I ask my friends to give a few words that describe Naveen... they would say
"kind, caring, loving father, a loving husband, supportive, a mentor, and a friend".
When I ask myself I say he is "my big brother, my pillar of strength, my first friend".
