Dear friends,
As many of you know, sobriety has been a roller coaster of a ride for me. I went from having years of sobriety to being in and out of the program for the last couple of years. 55 days ago, I checked myself into treatment out in San Diego, CA where I completed 30 days of residential treatment. I then transferred to an outpatient program in Los Angeles, CA. This also means I've had to take some time off work and haven't flown since May 15th. The program I am in has sober living houses, where I have curfew, drug/alcohol tests regularly, a supportive environment, and most of all, a safe place to lay my head every night. I am so grateful. Sober living costs money, however. Money I don't have to support my recovery journey.
So I am humbling myself and asking for help. The program I am at has saved my life, and I want to be able to stay for as long as possible so that I can return to New York with some quality sober time and new tools to prevent any future relapse. And that's where you come in. Any donation, even if it's $1, goes a long way in helping me get better and stay better.
May 27, 2025, is my sobriety date, and I am doing everything in my power to guarantee that that's the one that sticks. I am putting in the work big time - and if you find yourself in a position to donate, that's amazing. If you can't donate or do not wish to, I am always in the market for prayers and good vibes sent my way.
Thank you so much.
