Help Fund My Life-Saving Transplant Trip
Donation protected
I was diagnosed with Cirrhosis due to Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). I have made lots of lifestyle changes and it's been difficult. I eat a healthy and clean diet, I walk or swim every day, and I've quit smoking. I've lost over 200 pounds. Unfortunately, even with all of these positive changes, my liver is now failing. My liver specialist in Johnson City, TN is sending me to Duke University Medical Center to be worked up for a liver transplant. The expenses for the trip will include dog boarding, car rental, hotel stay for 3 to 4 days, gas, food, etc. Even if I save all I can until then, I'll still be short on funds. My doctor here wanted me to go no later than June but I've put it off until July so that I could save more money. I really need to be able to keep this appointment in July. Any amount you could give would be deeply appreciated. Thank you!!
