Hi, my name is Juan Lamarche, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Athletic Training at Stony Brook University. This summer, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to take part in a 3-week immersive clinical experience with the University of Alabama's men’s basketball team, running from July 6th to July 27th.

As a former college basketball player, this opportunity means everything to me. Basketball has shaped who I am — on and off the court — and now, as I transition into a career in athletic training, this program offers the perfect blend of my past and my future. I’ll be working hands-on with elite athletes and experienced professionals at one of the top athletic programs in the country.

This experience will help me develop critical skills in sports medicine, injury prevention, and rehabilitation — all of which are essential for my career as a future certified athletic trainer.

I’m aiming to raise $5,000 to cover travel, housing, food, transportation, and other necessary expenses while I’m in Alabama. As a full-time student, covering these costs on my own is challenging. That’s why I’m asking for your support.
