Help Fund My Florence Study Abroad Journey

Hey! As my inner circle is aware, I’m doing a semester long study abroad with James Madison University this fall in Florence Italy! This experience is one that I have dreamed of since hearing of my mom’s study abroad experience's as a kid, and an educational opportunity that will be priceless to my future practice as a social worker. In Florence I will be studying the culture, people, history, and language, and also applying the two years of Italian I have studied at JMU! I hope to be able to both practice cultural humility, and make the best of this once in a lifetime opportunity for the 4 months that I will be staying abroad.

With that being said, studying abroad will be most costly than my normal tuition. Recently there were greater fees added to the JMU study abroad in Florence Program, so I’m opening up this GoFundMe to hopefully be able to use these funds to offset the cost of studying abroad and the fees that come alongside this amazing opportunity.
