Hi! My name is Phoebe and my dream ever since I was young was to study abroad and travel across the world! I have always been interested in the United Nations at Geneva and European classical music history as a law student and pianist so I am super excited to have been accepted to Maastricht for an exchange program and step foot into Europe for the first time. Unfortunately, the costs of living and expenses add up quick when you are in Europe and travelling, and it’s not possible to earn any money during this exchange period on the visa and I would really really appreciate any bits and pieces of help I can get from kind people so I can turn my dream into reality!

What your money will support: 

- travel costs from Australia to the Netherlands and back (multiple times throughout the program as I will need to come back to Sydney frequently for a music scholarship program) 

- rent for my stay 

- food, textbooks, cost of living

- any remaining money will help me travel around to Vienna, Berlin 

Additional note that I do not partake in activities such as drinking, smoking or doing drugs- I know the Netherlands is famous for that! None of your support will be used for any of these things. 

I understand that I am in a more privileged position than some people on gofundme and I have and will support those who are in situations in more need of help. However, I would still love and appreciate anything I can get to help me further my education, worldview and career through this program. Thanks for your support!
