Hi my name is Alicia. I'm trying to raise money so I can get an ADHD diagnosis to be able to finish my studies and not have to move back in with my emotionslly abusive parents. Less than a week ago I was able to finally move out to a student apartment and no longer have to deal with my abusive parents after struggling severely with mental and physical health issues. Ive struggled with ADHD symptoms my entire life, yet my family doesn't believe in neurodivergency so I was never able to get a diagnosis. In Sweden our psychiatric department is very slow at diagnosing ADHD especially if you're over the age of 18 and it can take up to six years. If you're lucky they're fast and it can take 8 months. I don't even have 8 months to spare so I dont how I'd be able to wait six years being stuck on a waiting list. My only option is to do it at a private clinic. Everything is so mentally draining when you're mentally crippled. I just want help so I can function properly. I need the money to get it done as fast as possible. I don't know what to do otherwise.
