Hi ya'll! Someone said post a gfm so here we are!

I'm a teacher and single mother of 2. My youngest wants to be a surgeon and already knows exactly where she wants to go (Brown University).

She told me she wasn't going to apply for their summer program at first because she assumed the costs would be out of budget but I told her to just do it anyway just in case she was accepted and I'd figure out the rest.

Well, she applied to Browns' summer program and was accepted! They even gave her a partial scholarship. Now I just need to come up with the rest and pay for her plane ride there. Anything will help this little girl fulfill her dreams. I had so many offer to help her so here we are!

A little bit about her:

Her overall goal is to become a surgeon, own two practices, and help undeserved communities. She then wants to retire into politics (the girl has high ambitions!).

She taught herself Japanese and also knows Korean plus some Russian and Chinese as well.

She is on the debate team at school and last weekend, won her first round as a novice on the team.

Last month she spoke in front of 600 educators about "The Dangers of AI."

She is self motivated and refuses to get on any social media platform as she says it is brain rot. She does however consent to me posting about her and isn't judgemental of others.
