Hi everyone! I am now one year post-grad and will be shooting my first official short film in October of 2025. The film is inspired by Zabel Yesayan's My Soul in Exile and tells the story of a young woman who is struggling to find the meaning in her art while her nation begins to fall apart.

The film will be shot in Ghazir, Lebanon, which will be made to mimic Western Armenia in 1910. It will be a 3-day shoot with a small cast and crew.

All the funds will go directly towards production costs such as equipment rental, set materials, costumes, transport, and post-production needs.

Zabel Yesayan has always been an influential Armenian writer to me since I was young. It is an honor to bring her words to life in my own style that I have worked hard to cultivate throughout film school and after.
