For the past three years, I have dedicated myself to sports medicine courses, where I discovered my passion for helping others in moments when they need it most. Through hands-on learning, I gained a deeper understanding of injury prevention, emergency response, and patient care—experiences that inspired me to pursue a future as an Emergency Room physician.

As a proud member of HOSA, I have worked alongside other aspiring healthcare professionals, developing leadership skills and a strong commitment to public health. These experiences have reinforced my desire to serve my community and advocate for accessible, high-quality medical care.

This summer, I have been accepted into an Advanced Medical and Public Health Internship in Washington, DC. This opportunity will allow me to learn directly from medical professionals, explore real-world public health initiatives, and gain invaluable insight into emergency medicine at the national level. Participating in this program is a critical step toward achieving my goal of becoming an ER doctor.
