Help Fund My Access To Medicine Course

Assalamu Alaikum/Hi, my name is Halima. I’ve been dreaming of going into medicine for years — not just for a career, but because I want to help people and make a difference in the world.

I first applied to university two years ago, but due to some personal struggles at the time, I wasn’t able to achieve the grades I needed. It was a really difficult period, but it never changed my desire to study medicine. Alhamdulillah, I’ve now been accepted onto an Access to Medicine course, which gives me a second chance to work towards university and, insha’Allah, becoming a doctor.

The course costs £3,384, and I’ve managed to save just under £500 so far by putting aside what I can and selling items on Vinted. I’ve been applying for jobs for months and haven’t had much luck yet, but I’m still trying every day.

Because of my faith, I’m doing everything I can to avoid taking out an interest-based loan, which is why I’m turning to this platform. I feel a little nervous sharing this, because I never want to seem like I’m begging — I’m just someone trying to do the right thing, and I could use a bit of help.
