Help Fund Multiple Myeloma Research
Donation protected
On November 4, 2003, my husband, Jon Gluck, was diagnosed with an incurable form of bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma. At the time, newly diagnosed myeloma patients were expected to live for 18 months.
Next Saturday, November 4, 2023, will mark twenty years to the day since Jon learned he was sick. Since then, he has undergone radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cutting-edge gene therapy treatments and has been in and out of remission many times. It is fair to say he is alive today because of the extraordinary advances researchers have made in the treatment of his disease.
To mark the twentieth anniversary of his diagnosis, Jon, our daughter, AJ, our son, Oscar, and I are seeking to raise money for multiple myeloma research and treatment.
If you’d like to help us do that, please donate here.
Our family will match all donations made before November 4, up to a total of $10,000. One-hundred percent of the money will go to the Center of Excellence for Multiple Myeloma at Mount Sinai hospital in New York, where Jon is currently a patient.
Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute. We appreciate it with all our hearts.
With love,
Didi, Jon, AJ, and Oscar
