Help fund mother’s heart surgery bills

I am raising this fundraiser for my mother, Sandhya Gupta. I am originally from India and am on an H1b visa. My mother is currently visiting the US from India on a tourist visa. She suffered a massive heart attack on the evening of Monday, 8/8. Fortunately, she got immediate medical assistance from paramedics, who took her to the ER. She had 100% blockage in the main artery and 99% in the other two. The cardiologists had to instantly operate on her to save her life. During the heart surgery, the cardiologists had to put 3 stents in my mom's heart. She is recovering in the ICU right now. Her heart is at 50% of capacity.

Although we are grateful for my mom's immediate medical assistance, our joy was marred by the hefty medical bill we were handed for her treatment of $125000. This amount is beyond our capacity to pay.

She has not fully recovered and is still feeling the after-effects of surgery. Additionally, the doctor has prescribed her cardiac rehab for at least 120 days to get to a stable condition.

Her cardiac rehab is also essential as she is on a tourist visa to the USA and can not stay for long. In India, she lives alone as my father passed away when I was only 4 years old, and my brother was 3. My mom raised the two of us by herself. My mom has been the sole pillar in our lives. I seek your help to save my mom's life so we can pay for her medical expenses and rehab. We cannot apply for financial assistance as she is neither a US citizen nor a Green Card holder.

I am seeking this help from each of you. Your support will mean the world to my family. My wife lost her parents when she was a child, and my mom is the only parental figure in her life. Both my daughters are extremely attached to my mom as she is the only grandparent in their life.
