The Brutalizer is the brainchild of SCAD alumni and Savannah Film Academy student M.D. Shane.

It is a throwback horror film, set in Savannah, giving it its very own low country boogeyman.

The Brutalizer not only represents M.D. Shane's attempt at making a feature film but also stands as a proof of concept for his fledgling multimedia company, Introflect Studios, as a film boot camp, a residency where students and professionals work in tandem to create a feature film while mastering their craft in a mentor/mentee relationship.
