The Dominican Republic is currently facing an animal welfare crisis. Everywhere you go you see stray dogs and cats. Most of them will die before their first birthday from horrible diseases such as distemper, tick borne viruses, being hit by cars, being poisioned or from starvation.

We are determined to be part of the solution.

Rescate Con Amor (Rescue With Love) is a national initiative dedicated to creating real, lasting change for street animals in the Dominican Republic. We aren't just putting a bandage on the crisis; we are tackling it at the root cause.

Veterinarians agree: mass sterilization is the single most effective, humane way to curb street overpopulation and end the endless cycle of suffering before it begins.

How Your Support Creates Instant Change

By partnering with dedicated volunteer veterinarians and local organizations like Dogs and Cats of the Dominican Republic, we are hosting high-volume mass spaying clinics. By bringing together skilled teams over concentrated weekends, we can spay and neuter 50 to 100 animals at a time, bringing the cost down to just $50 USD (approx. 3,000 DOP) per animal.

Every $50 raised prevents thousands of unwanted animals from ever being born into life on the streets.

Where Your Donation Goes

We are launching our pilot project right here in Punta Cana before documenting our framework, measuring our impact, and scaling these life-saving clinics across the entire nation.

$25 (1,500 DOP): Covers essential vaccines, pain medicine, and post-op care for a rescued stray.

$50 (3,000 DOP): SPONSORS ONE FULL SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY—preventing generations of street animal suffering.

$100 (6,000 DOP): Sponsors 2 surgeries and complete medical intake packages.

$250 (15,000 DOP): Funds an entire micro-batch of spay/neuter operations at our clinic.

Join the Movement

Our mission is being filmed as part of an upcoming documentary project following the incredible animals, rescuers, vets, and community members uniting to drive systemic change. But we can't do it alone.

Whether you can give $5 or sponsor multiple surgeries, 100% of your contribution goes directly toward life-saving medical care and spay/neuter operations.

If you can't donate today, please hit Share to help us spread the word. Together, we can replace heartbreak with hope—one spay at a time.

Thank you for opening your heart to the street animals of the Dominican Republic! ❤️
