Help Mahir Save His Vision

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin, Mahir Keco, who lives in Bosnia. Mahir has lived with diabetes for many years and is currently undergoing regular dialysis treatment. Unfortunately, due to complications from his illness, his eyesight has become severely impaired and continues to worsen. Without urgent medical intervention, Mahir is at risk of losing his vision completely.

Doctors in Bosnia have unfortunately been unable to provide further treatment and have referred him to Klinika Milos in Belgrade, where specialists have advised that surgery on both eyes is his only chance to repair and preserve his vision.

The cost of the surgery is 7,000 BAM per eye, bringing the total to 14,000 BAM. This amount is extremely difficult for Mahir and his family to afford, which is why we are reaching out for help.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards Mahir’s surgeries and give him a chance to protect his sight and maintain his independence.
