Help fund Maddie’s vet bills after dog attack

Maddie was attacked this evening by a pocket bully type dog in Barrow. The dog was off lead and ran at her and latched onto her neck. The owner and one other young male fought to get the dog off before running away and not seeing how my dog was. Maddie is the sweetest dog in the world and didn’t deserve this. Some kind people assisted and rang the police. The police drove us both to Furness Vets in Dalton for emergency treatment for the large puncture wound on her neck. The vet said it was very close to her jugular and she was extremely lucky. She was sedated and stitched up. Now on antibiotics and painkillers. I’m asking for help to raise the money to cover her vets fees as I don’t have it. The vets have kindly given me some time to pay. Any help is much appreciated. Target increased very slightly to cover GoFundMe’s fees. Any extra money raised will be donated to an appropriate animal charity or potentially put behind counter at vets to help another owner who’s animal needs treatment and they can’t afford it.
