Help Beatrice study to become a health professional
Donation protected
Please help Beatrice from the indigenous Maasai tribe to fulfill her dream of becoming a health professional. She has secured a place at the Decca College of Health and Applied Sciences at Dodoma in Tanzania to study for 3 years and gain a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
It is her dream to return and serve her community, a community which is currently suffering from extreme hardships due to the Tanzanian governments recent land grab. Thousands of Indigenous Maasai have been forced from their land to make way for tourist development. Here is link to a BBC article about this issue. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-40950383
Beatrice pursuing her educational dream stands for so much more against this dramatic back drop of injustice. Can you support her. Her father Lemra, who is proudly pictured with her has managed to sell some cows to raise the first 300$. Now they need the remaining 950$ to pay at the beginning of September (650$ for college fees and 350$ for living costs for the year).
If you are unable to support Beatrice and know someone who might want to, please forward this to them.
Lets help this brave young female Maasai leader fulfill her educational potential and dreams.
