Help Fund Louie's Medical Expenses

I adopted Louie on May, 29 2021. As I am sure many of you can attest to, he is the absolute love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him.

In August of this year, we were temporarily parted as my career took me on the road. Four months apart and I finally arrived home yesterday to find that my worst fears about leaving him behind had come to fruition.

About an hour after picking me up from the airport, I noticed that Louie was having difficulty walking. He seemed unsteady on his feet and he kept falling over. I immediately called the vet who asked me to bring him in for assessment.

$1,000 later, it was discovered that two of Louie's vertebrae had compressed, pinching the nerve that controls his back legs. The vet immediately started the first round of intensive treatment.

Louie is due back again on Tuesday for round two and then again on Wednesday for round three. If the treatment fails, Louie will require an incredibly expensive surgery that without may leave him paralyzed.

I love Louie more than life itself and will do whatever it takes to make sure he is back on his feet again.
