Our friend Chris is founder of Magical Year Retreats, a former journalist and author completing a book about his experience in American healthcare, his subsequent recovery, and a consultant guiding clients facing similar challenges.

Chris has faced an unfathomable series of health issues the past few years that he remarkably survived, but that were financially catastrophic, destabilized his life and business, and delayed completion and publication of his book.

Dozens of physicians consider his survival miraculous and his book an inspirational and informative guide for readers navigating healthcare or facing life altering crisis.

None of this is possible without our help. This campaign was launched almost a year ago and due to the way that these campaigns typically succeed has not resulted in the donations necessary for Chris to recover his full health.

Throughout his life Chris has been a source of inspiration, shown incredible resilience and tenacity, and is devoting his efforts to helping others.
