Raising funds for essential and urgent cervical cancer treatment in Australia for a young Solomon Islands mother of three, Julian Tahina TAHANI. We can do this!!

Julian resides in the Solomon Islands, an amazingly beautiful place, but a place that does not have access to specialized medical treatment.

In early 2025 (this year), Julian was diagnosed with cervical cancer in a very advanced stage. Julian and her family exhausted all available treatment options available to them in the Solomon Islands and Julian now requires more specialized care, not just to prolong, but save her life.

Amazingly and most importantly, specialists in both the Solomon Islands and Australia have advised that this critical treatment does exist in Australia!!

We wish wholeheartedly we did not have to set up this 'gofundme' page, however cancer knows no bounds nor is discerning. And as so many of us already sadly know, cancer touches many, leaving us with ever familiar stories of pain, hurt and suffering.

In order to undertake the necessary treatment, Julian is required to travel to Australia in November this year and pay privately for the medical treatment, money that is in excess of $36,000 AUD. This is an amount far beyond the financial capacity of Julian’s family and community.
