3 years ago, I had surgery to correct my Pectus Excavatum. Pectus Excavatum is a condition where a person's sternum produces excess cartilage, causing their sternum to cave in. In some cases like mine, where it's severe, it can continue to sink, causing pressure on the heart, lungs, and other organs. In my circumstance, it was causing pressure on my heart, liver, and lungs. Which was causing my blood to become toxic and my lungs to be constricted.
In the past few months, I underwent testing and found out my condition is starting to worsen again. The metal implant is continuing to sink and bend, and the scans showed a mass on my heart and liver.
The reason I'm posting this is because today I found out that in order to go through with this procedure. I would need the funds in a Week. The day of surgery.
By me getting this surgery, it's going to help reduce the risks of my symptoms worsening and give me a chance at a better quality of life.
Please consider donating whatever you can. I understand not everyone can donate at this time. Please share my story. Help raise awareness for my condition. Thank you for your help, love and support! Anything means a lot!!
