I'm raising money quietly for someone incredibly important to me who is about to begin an intensive course of treatment for scoliosis.

Her treatment starts on the end of August and will involve 5 days a week, around 6 hours a day, for 4 weeks. The treatment itself costs £4,950 and not in the same city we are in.

I've already put £500 of my own money towards the treatment, and she will be covering her own travel, living expenses, time away from work and normal bills during the treatment period.

I'm trying to raise money towards the remaining treatment cost because I want to take a little bit of that financial pressure away from her.

I'm deliberately keeping this fundraiser quiet because I'd love to be able to surprise her with the support we've managed to raise. She doesn't know I'm doing this, so please don't mention it to her if you know who she is.

I know times are difficult for a lot of people, so absolutely no pressure to donate. Even a small amount would mean a huge amount to me, and if you can't donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would help more than you might realise.

I'm hoping that together we can make this treatment a little less financially stressful and give someone I love the best possible chance of getting through it.
