Hello friends and family. As many of you know, I have been struggling with addiction for most of my adult life. I am at the point where I am ready to make changes, and I have found a place where I can get the help I need. It's an excellent program down in California called Trust Socal, which is a minimum of 6 months to a year. It'll be the change in environment that I think will be good for me to be able to focus on recovery.

The only catch is that I need to pay for a health insurance plan that covers me in California and has that facility and the detox center in-network. I was quoted $500 for the first 2 months, then it drops down to $87 per month after that, which I'll be able to handle once it drops. But I need help and support from anyone else who is willing and able. The money raised is going to be only accessible by my mom.

I am hoping to be able to leave at the beginning of December when the next billing cycle for insurance starts. Anything you can do helps tremendously and can even be considered a birthday gift since November 26th is when I turn 33! Thank you.
