Hi! My name is Alexis Shepherd, and I write to you with a troubled but grateful heart. Pictured above is myself and an amazing man I get the honors of calling Dad. If you know anything about my father, Leondra Shepherd, then you would know the amount of pride he takes in providing for his family and his love for motorcycles. Anytime there's a motorcycle event in town, he's always somewhere near. Just hearing the robust sound of the heavy bikes, could turn a frown upside down.

On September 4th, of 2023, he traveled to Union Hill to see an annual bike race. Extremely eager and thrilled, he had no idea his life was going to change drastically. On that day, he was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident; resulting in puncturing both lungs, fracturing ribs, and now relies on a tracheal tube for daily oxygen. Now, incapable of working and completing daily tasks, he depends solely on my mom and I.

Since it's just the beginning of his recovery, I do not know the level of care he will need moving forward. I am hoping for the best, but want to be prepared for the worst. Meeting the goal of $100,000 will make a meaningful difference, even though all expenses will surpass our goal.
