Help Fund Lane's Top Surgery

Hey there! My name is Lane Rozin Phifer and I am currently raising money for my top surgery. While I have yet to know the exact price range, the procedure should cost around $6,000, so anything helps, even a share!

 

I have been out of the closet as a trans man for roughly five years. I struggled immensely with gender and bodily dysphoria throughout my childhood and as a result, it wasn't easy growing up this way.

 

Because of this I spent years struggling with spiraled depression, a variety of eating disorders, and often contemplated suicide. I attempted three times within a period of eight months. Three days before my fourteenth birthday, I knew that if I didn’t come out of the closet, I would never make it to my sixteenth birthday.

 

Now here I am, 18 years old and nearly three years on testosterone. I can honestly say that if someone told me that this is where I’d be in life at this age, I wouldn’t have believed them in a million years. I am incredibly grateful to have a family that has welcomed my transition with open arms and a community that has accepted me for who I am.

As a freshman at the University of Kansas, you can imagine that my financial situation isn't the best. I have a job that can only provide so much to my top surgery fund and could use as much help as possible.
